Annual MDP FUNraising Hoedown Auction 2-6pm, St. Hugh's Church on South Circle. Special guest
"the Bronze Buckaroo" Herb Jeffries and celebrity auctioneer Conor O'Farrell, plus music by Change Required. Come bid on vacation condo time, art objects, and much more. Or just come for the fun, drinks, free snacks and to support MDP. Entry $15 at the door, $10 pre-event at the post office. All proceeds go to funding MDP training programs, facilities, and other community activities. |

Drum Making Workshop August 7 & 8
ICRC will host a Drum Making Workshop Saturday, August 7 from 8:30am to 3:00pm, and Sunday,
August 8 from 7:30am to 9:00am at the Idyllwild Community Center Park. Space is limited to 30 participants so call Greg Varra now to sign up at 760/408-6629. Cost is $55 per person.
Workshop consists of hands-on instructions and practical support on how to create a personal hand
drum. Traditional native American drum songs and rhythms will be taught as well. |
